A Journey to the Taj Mahal

My journey to the Taj Mahal was nothing short of magical. This iconic monument, often described as a 'poem in marble,' was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife, Mumtaz Mahal. The construction began in 1632 and took over 20 years to complete.

The Taj Mahal is a masterpiece of architectural beauty, blending Persian symmetry with Indian craftsmanship. Its white marble surface reflects different colors at various times of the day, turning rosy at dawn, golden at dusk, and silver under moonlight. This stunning play of light adds to its ethereal charm.

The Love Story Behind the Taj Mahal
